How Can severe Stomach Pain Along With Diarrhoea Be Treated?

Hi! I d been diagnosed with IBS several years ago but have been living with it constantly for about the past 12 years. I use Imodium when needed; tried to take Viberzi but didn t work ~ severe stomach pains. The past few months have been esp bad ~ every 2-4 days, nasty bouts of stomach rumbling, sometimes pain, and diarrhea. I ve pared down so many things in my diet ~ little dairy; caffeine; roughage. But hasn t helped enough! Can you recommend effective medication? Thank You!

Hi,

As your history suggests you have IBS and currently you have now the same kind of symptoms.

I suggest you take antibiotic Ofloxacin-Ornidazole and capsule of Pantoprazole.

You also take light diet, avoid smoking, stress and anxiety, take curd mixed with milk in the diet in liquid form.

If symptoms continue after one or two weeks then report to the emergency room for further evaluation.
